We offer many different ministries at
AWANA is a ministry for children that teaches kids about Jesus Christ, the Bible, and how to be saved. There are age groups for kids from age 3 to 17. Awana goes from September through May; for details see Commander Mark Ziegler. We have special theme nights every meeting, as well as the Awana Grand Prix, and our annual Awana Awards Night. BROKEN CHAINS JAIL MINISTRY brings the Gospel to inmates, ex-offenders and their families while helping men and women to successfully transition from incarceration to community. CHOIR practice is at 7pm on Sunday evenings. We are always looking for enthusiastic singers and/or musicians to join us. NURSERY service is provided for babies and small children during ALL services. OUT REACH helps us reach out into the community in a variety of ways. SUPER SENIORS get together during the Spring and Summer months with many activities: guest speakers, good fellowship, fun trips, good food and much much more. SPORT LEAGUES in softball for men and ladies, and basketball for men only. SUNDAY SCHOOL is for all ages! From toddlers, to elementary school, to teens, to adults, there's a class for YOU! Come join us Sunday Morning at 9:45 am. VBS is June 2008 YOUTH group is a ministry that focuses on teenagers, who we consider to be the most at-risk group in our church. We have many activities, including weekly youth group services and a missions trip this summer. By involving our teenagers in Christian activities, we try to help them steer clear of worldly temptations and sin, and remain on the righteous path.
Purpose of Ministry: Reaching - Evangelism Sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with children and their families Teaching - Discipleship Equipping children and their families to grow in the grace and the knowledge of Jesus Christ Caring - Ministry Meeting the spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional needs of children and their families.
